What is CLASS?
Class is a unique opportunity to learn and grow in an environment of synergy. Historically we know that a drip-feeding process allows for awareness, absorption, and action of the material learned between sessions. Therefore class will be conducted one day a month over five months. The seminars fit together like a puzzle to make a complete picture of what leadership and success are all about.

Seminar 1
LeadershipThe amazing thing about leadership is that it is everywhere. At some time in our lives we will all assume the role of leader whether at home, in a community group or at work. Quality leadership takes more than just assuming a position or taking on a role, it must be studied, learned and then applied.
This seminar will deal with the six key qualities of effective leadership while helping participants identify their own personal leadership style. Practical subjects will be the focus of the day. Subjects like; the difference between managing and leading, between cooperation and harmony and the difference between a group and a team. We will explore the five things people want most from their jobs. By knowing what motivates people we are better equipped to help them maximise their potential.
Participants will examine the art of delegating and learn why some leaders do not or cannot delegate. We will look at delegating from the followers point of view to give us an insight into what is needed to delegate more effectively.
Finally we will provide participants with the strategies to become more effective “situational” leaders, so they will know whether to direct, coach, support or delegate someone through a task.

Seminar 2
Attitude & Self ImageThis seminar will reinforce the fact that each person is a worthy individual with skills and talents unique to themselves. Participants will explore the “character ethics” and how they formulate the foundation to a healthy, positive and productive self-image. Participants will examine the following “character ethics”:
- Integrity
- Respect
- Humility
- Industry
- Loyalty
- Modesty
- Service
We will explore the role Attitude, Skill and Knowledge plays in our pursuit of success as well as discovering how they factor into failure.
CommunicationCommunication is a key factor in building relationships and equipping yourself for leadership. It is a proven tool for developing self-confidence.
In this seminar participants will learn about the impact of a first impression and what makes up a first impression. We will explore the effects of what we say, how we say it and what is seen.
We will investigate how phrases, terms and expressions can cause barriers, breakdowns and roadblocks to effective communication, and finally we will explore listening styles, providing you with techniques and strategies to improve your listening skills.

Seminar 3
Personality ProfilingIn this session participants will explore the four basic personalities which are, Sanguine (the socializer) Choleric (the driver) Melancholy (the analyzer) and Phlegmatic (the empathizer). The key to using a profiling tool is to maximise your potential to maximise the potential of those that you are leading.
Through the process of reading and understanding the other person’s personality you are better equipped to create the flexibility that is needed so that you can lead in a way that is most beneficial to both you as the leader and to those that you lead. The key is to “do unto others as they want to be done unto”.
Building a Quality CultureThe focus of this session is to explore the word QUALITY, what role does quality play in business and can we have a quality product and not necessarily a culture that would be consistent with the product, and if we do, what does that say to both the client as well as the employees.
We will explore the word CULTURE, identifying what are the inherent attributes of a culture. This session will look at the shareholder philosophy versus the stakeholder philosophy. The session will conclude by bringing together both the understanding of quality and culture so that participants will be better equipped to drive the concept of a quality corporate culture.

Seminar 4
Personal Leadership in PracticeThe saying “One of these days” can mean “none of these days”…. Life is too short to miss out on the things that would make it a life worth having lived.
Time management is indispensable in maximizing your effectiveness. Utilise the key 1% of your day to maximise the other 99%. Knowing what we want to do is quite different from knowing how to do it. Life is too short to let the things we truly desire and value be overpowered by the things that squeak, ring, buzz, beep and those things that ‘must be done today’!
This seminar will cover the ‘techniques and tools,’ putting the principles of personal leadership to work for you. We will help participants to implement the previous training in this series to modify or eliminate obstacles in attaining the things we desire most deeply while enabling effective function in everyday life.
Managing your prioritizing, planning, adapting, delegating, tracking, stress reduction, scheduling and procrastination are all covered in this all important seminar. Just as relevant are the subjects of life such as ‘tendency versus capacity, complacency versus contentment, chaos versus continuity and much more’.

Seminar 5
GoalsDo you have a clearly defined pathway to your future or what we might call your yellow brick road. If you do then you are a part of the minority, most people live their lives wishing, hoping and dreaming.
It doesn’t have to be that way! You don’t have to live in dreamland. Why? Because through this seminar will be given the “How To”. You will learn the techniques and strategies for setting, actioning and achieving your life long dreams.
In this seminar participants will learn some alarming statistics that will surely drive them to becoming a goal setter (or being better at setting goals).
Participants will be exposed to the “3D’s of success”, the three key elements that are a part of every successful person.
There will be instruction on how to write an affirmation and the power of ‘self talk’. Participants will be given a clear and concise definition as to what a goal is and the technique for identifying whether it really is a goal they will be willing to work for.
Finally participants will learn how to stay on track to achieving their goals.
